1: A few years ago, I bought a pair of Kayland hiking boots in Canada.
2: I used them during several hiking and hunting adventures in tempreatures as low as -20 degrees. They worked fine.
3: A couple of weeks two ago I decided to wash my all boots. I put them in the bath tub and washed them with water and liquid soap:
4: When I left the boots outside to dry, I noticed that many small cracks have appeared in the front rubber part portion of my boots:
5: I got shocked  then very mad!!
6: I looked for the information about the manufacturesrs representative in US. I found their phone number and called their customer service department. I explained what happend to my boots  .
7: The representative asked me to send the boots to them for investigatation. He also asked me to email him the details about the soap I used for washing them so he can reproduce the effect.
8: After a few days, the representative from Kayland sent me this email:

Although I have not been able to reproduce the problem that you encountered, I have sent you a new pair of Kayland Contact 1000, Brown/Sand, UK 8/US 9 to replace the Contact 1700’s that you sent to me for inspection. These will ship today via UPS Ground. As soon as I have the tracking number, I will send it to you.

9 : Yaay! This is fantastic customer service!  Bravo to kayland for truly beleiving in the quality of their products!  I am waiting for my new boots to arrive in the mail!
10 : Guys, this is a perfect example of how European/NorthAmerican buissness mentality is different from the Iranian one! The compnay is Italian, the boots were bought in Canada and I got such a great service in US!! Do you think an Iranian company would ever do this?
