You guys are young and very idealistic. Let me remind you of a little tiny unimportant lesseon from hisorty. This will solve all your
problems about who is "right" (= hagh) and who is "wrong" (=baatel) in debates aboout the wars in Lebanon, Palestine, Isreal, Iran, Iraq, Vietnam etc. as well as all other past, present and future wars.
In exactly 2423 years ago (=416 BC) the army of
Athens invaded the small island of
Melos. The Melians resisted this invasion. Both sides held a meeting where they presented their arguments for and against the invasion.
In the meeting, the Athenians presented Melos with an alternative: the island can pay tribute (=maaliyaat, kharaaj) to Athens and thus survive, or fight Athens and be destroyed. Melos presented several counter-arguments: showing mercy towards Melos will win the Athenians more friends; the
Spartans will come to their aid; the gods!! will protect them.
The Athenians said that they don't want to waste time and discuss who is right and who is wrong here because
"you know as well as we do that right, as the world goes, is only in question between equals in power, while the strong do what they can and the weak suffer what they must."
In the end, the Melians refused to submit. Athens immediately began a siege (=mohaasereh) of Melos, and cnquered the island shortly afterwards. Every man of military age was killed and the women and children were sold into slavery.

Don't waste your time (and your enemy's time!) arguing that you are "right" if you don't have any power to defend yourself. "Right" is a meaningless word when the two sides of a conflict are not of equal power. Also, don't waste God's time praying to him to help you win against your stronger enemy.
