That is good to know about loneliness, some studies provided that, doctors can provide better or more complete medical care to patients who have supportive families and are not socially isolated. Since suicide is a major issue in Psychology, we should keep in mind that living alone increases the risk of suicide. Lonely people can not have a posetive social interaction as other people usually have, then these interactions do not heal their stress as it should. Sometimes they feel more stressed when they are in a group.
Loneliness effects sleep and then reduces the person's productivity during the day, then the person's social life would decline and they might get rejected from the society. Bilogically, loneliness raises the level of sterss hormones and the level of blood pressure, as a result of that, the person can be at risk for health problems especially heart disease.
